Kelly Feng, Asian Family Services, will share strategies for providing tailored mental health support for international students. She will discuss culture-specific responses to stressful circumstances and how to respond effectively. This webinar will be relevant to all education providers enrolling Asian students.
There will be provision for Q&A during this 60 minute webinar and opportunities to share.
Presenter Information:
Kelly Feng is the National Director for Asian Family Services since Oct 2016. Kelly is responsible for running all facet of the business. Kelly has proven her leadership and strong ser
vice development track record by set up the social enterprise business model of Asian Wellbeing Services to better serve the Asians who are in need with cultural and linguistically appropriate psychological services.
Kelly was a qualified medical doctor in China and migrated to New Zealand in 2002 where she obtained her social work qualification. She has been a registered social worker since 2005 and has been working in mental health and addiction sectors and other social sector for over a decade.
Kelly is passionate about the Asian community and its her heart to serve the community and continue to advocate for Asians in NZ to develop more culturally appropriate services to meet the need of our Asian community.
