Did you study in Australia in 2020 or 2021?

Are you an international student?

If you think your students would answer ‘YES’ to these questions, then a Deakin study team would like to talk to them and hear their experiences making decisions during this time.

They are interested in talking about any decisions that are important to them. These decisions can be ‘everyday’ choices (e.g. food, seeing friends) or bigger decisions (e.g. moving house, traveling overseas).

Their project aims to explore international students’ perceptions of their income security and experiences of making decisions that might have influence on their health, with a specific focus on the experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Participation in the project involves a confidential interview, lasting about 30-60 minutes. The interviews are conducted either via Zoom video calls or face-to-face in a convenient location.

As a thank you for your student’s time, they will provide them with a AU$40 visa gift card at the completion of the interview.

If you think your students would be interested, share the QR code or CLICK HERE to read more about the study.

This study has received Deakin University ethics approval (reference number: 2021-447).
