Study NSW tasked NEAS Australia with developing quality standards for homestay accommodation. NEAS engaged a wide cross-section of stakeholders as part of the project, conducting four workshops with representatives from schools, universities, government, homestay providers, stakeholder associations, and legal centres. Through extensive consultation and research, a comprehensive set of homestay quality standards has been established. Study NSW deserves commendation for pioneering this initiative, demonstrating their commitment to maintaining high standards for international student experiences and ensuring a memorable and exceptional stay in Australia. NEAS Australia takes pride in managing this crucial project.


Biography:

As Operations Manager at NEAS Australia, Daniel draws on 20 years of experience in higher education, English Language Teaching, and global assessments. He has nurtured first-class teams for eminent institutions, including University of Sydney, Chartered Accountants, and INTO University Partnerships, to expand market presence and increase enrolments.

An outstanding communicator, Daniel has engaged with decisionmakers in government ministries, regulatory authorities, and universities, in multiple countries. As part of the Australian office for Cambridge Assessment English, Daniel formed a trans-Tasman network of examination centres, trained Centre Exams Managers, and audited the delivery of testing sessions, in alignment with quality assurance architecture.
