Workshop #1 – for staff
Train the trainer interactive session

Presenter: Christine Yeung, psychologist and CEO and Founder of Beyond Story
This interactive train the trainer session will provide a high-level overview on mental wellness strategies and tools that students can utilise in stressful times. It will highlight some of the challenges that students potentially face when implementing these strategies. The presenter, Christine Yeung, will discuss effective strategies that you can utilise to support students when they are implementing these strategies. She will also help you to understand the signs to help identify when your students are struggling and how you can have effective mental health related conversations with them.
Workshop #2 – for onshore students
Ways to support yourself: Build your psychological fitness and reconnect with yourself in time of rapid changes

- Reconnect with your strengths and ways to leverage them to help self and others during this time of uncertainty

Workshop #3 – for onshore students
Connecting during times of Disconnection: Ways to connect with and support each other
Date: 4 August 2020 @ 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm AEST
Presenter: Christine Yeung, psychologist and CEO and Founder of Beyond Story
- Understand how to create meaning in your relationships and ways to cultivate those aspects during this time of remoteness
- Understand the type of relationships that can nurture you at this time
- Learn to ask the right questions to understand their needs and the way they wanted to be understood/ helped.
- Learn to set healthy boundaries and express your needs
Christine Yeung, CEO and Founder of Beyond Story, an experienced psychologist who spent a decade working with many professionals and leaders across industries across the globe to optimise their mental health and psychological fitness in order to thrive in complexity. She has studied and consulted across Europe, Asia and Australia, working with businesses, government departments, NGOs and the United Nations at the intersection of governance and culture. Her career experience ranges from coaching and mentoring migrants, international students through to empowering leaders and organisations to harness the power of diversity and inclusion to strengthen leadership in Australia.
