Teamworking and Leadership Skills – Post-Covid Challenges
The workshop will cover stages of growth of a team, choosing the right leadership style for the right people, and techniques to adapt a culturally aware communication style.
Presenter: Kashif Chauhan
Kashif has worked within or owned businesses across the international education and not-for-profit sectors for over twenty-five years. He has led and assisted organisations through challenging times post-9/11 attacks, the Iraq war and post-Covid. He is a thoughtful leader and presenter having a passion for international education. He has lived and worked across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, East Asia and the Australasian regions and has developed good insights about these education markets. Kashif has completed a post-graduate degree in Public Administration and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration. He is a certified trainer and assessor and completed a graduate diploma in Direct and Digital Marketing and a certificate in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
Panel discussion on current trends in international education
Join an expert panel discussion on current issues in the education industry rebound, focusing on student recruitment and support innovation, post-study work rights, PR pathways and implementation of the international education recovery strategy in practice.
Panellists:
Mr Usman Ali is a lawyer in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, and the High Court of Australia. Usman joined Parish Patience Lawyers in September 2012 and working with the firm for 10 years. Over the period of time, he has gained knowledge in immigration law as a result of his association with Parish Patience Immigration Lawyers. He has provided assistance to the firm including legal research in various immigration related matters including Student, Skilled, Protection, Partner, and Visitor, Parents, Citizenship and Ministerial appeals and Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
Usman has a special interest in non-immigration legal matters including Traffic, Criminal and family law and is keen in developing the non- immigration legal division within Parish Patience immigration lawyers. He has had experience working with clients from different nationalities and backgrounds.
Mr Dinesh Parajuli is a Registered Migration Agent, MARN 1799737. Dinesh has more than 5 years of experience in migration, especially in skilled migration.
His qualification include:
- Education Counsellor (QEAC R139)
- Bachelor of Information Technology from Federation University at IIBIT, Australia.
- ACS Certified Technologist, Computer System and Network Engineer.
- Bachelor in Physics from Tribhuvan University, Nepal
Mr Stephen John was Born in Pakistan and educated both in Pakistan and Australia, Stephen earns his LLB in Pakistan and Juris Doctor in Australia.
Stephen John is the founder of Stephen John Lawyers. Stephen has distinguished himself as a migration lawyer and have successfully represented clients at the Department of Home Affairs, Administrative Appeals Tribunal,
- Federal Circuit Court, Federal Court and High Court of Australia.
