Services Australia has produced a new translated factsheet about the Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment. This is a lump sum payment for people who have to quarantine or self-isolate due to COVID-19 or who are caring for someone with COVID-19.
The factsheet provides information about:
- the payment
- who is eligible
- participating Australian states
- how to claim.
The new factsheet is available on the Services Australia website in 17 languages: Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), Dari, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Italian, Maltese, Nepali, Punjabi, Spanish, Tagalog, Turkish, Urdu and Vietnamese.
