City of Sydney’s Lord Mayor’s Welcome for International Students

The City of Sydney warmly invites you to join Lord Mayor Clover Moore at the Lord Mayor’s official welcome for international students.
This annual event, supported by Study NSW, the University of Sydney, University of Technology Sydney and the University of New South Wales, celebrates the start of your educational journey in Sydney and the beginning of a lifelong connection with our city.
Join your fellow international students from Sydney institutions for a night of entertainment at historic Sydney Town Hall and connect with organisations which will support you during your stay here. Refreshments will be provided.

- 5 pm – 6 pm – registration
- 6 pm – 6.35 pm – formal proceedings
- 6.35 pm – 7.30 pm – connect with wellbeing and welfare service providers
